RSS sources disclosed that BJP performed badly in the polls because of discontentment among a large section of workers with the leadership. Owing to this, grass-root workers did not go all out to ensure the party’s victory. It was also observed that appointing a Brahmin as LoP would douse the anger of upper caste voters, who had played spoilsport during the polls.
